Gold Leaves

What do Leaves have
to do with Gold?
"DON" sent us a sample of some oak leaves he had collected from a known
Gold-bearing creek in California...which he reduced by burning to a fine carbon powder.
Lo and behold........it was loaded with Gold powder as a fine metal, which we mixed with
a standard borax flux, silver collector and a pinch of Litharge. This was Torch-fired on a
low, reducing flame and produced a nice gold bead, after acid-parting the silver portion.
Whoulda thunk it?
It goes to substantiate our claims about the "Gold Layer" in dissolved water streams...as
the Leaves obviously absorbed a quantity of gold.
Also don't forget that Gold is taken up into all plant products that grow in gold areas.
Some Farmers are even growing alfalfa, which does an excellent job of uptaking gold
from poor deposit lands...not rich enough to actually mine...and reducing the roots and
stems to a carbon, then recovering the gold. They process the leaves for animal foods
and medicines as well, doubling their incomes.
We have noted a lot of gold from wood ashes in Gold Country...so pay attention.
My personal experience in Mexico recovered Gold from the Mesquite Carbons from
Sonora, as they grow in the gold seams and areas that bear well..in alluvial gold fans,
etc.
This BBQ stuff also does a good job of recovering gold from some streams and
irrigation ditches, using a kiddie swimming pool to hold the whole carbon pieces, with a
sprinkler delivering the water over it...the water exiting is purified and great for animals
and people as well.
