Gold Recovery with SBF

Recovering Gold from Scrap
Electronics?

We have a one-step process that dissolves the
gold and platinums from Chips, pins and other
gold-plated electronic junk.

This is our SBF formula, requiring no
complicated procedures or crushing, etc.
Requirements?

As long as the gold parts are exposed, it will de-plate them in a 24 hour soak in SBF.
Following the soak, with occasional agitation to insure all parts receive exposure, just pour
off the liquid now containing the gold, adjust the PH upwards to 7.0, and the gold will
precipitate out as a brown powder on the bottom of the container.  You may use a bit of our
T-6 precipitant to insure rapid and complete recovery.

This, when carefully filtered out and dried can be fired by torch or furnace.  This done with a
bit of Borax and Soda ash.  Some use additional gold or silver to act as a collector metal to
make this easier when doing this last step.

This is designed for plated items primarily, not solid gold or platinum items.
The Simplicity
Refining System or other techniques are preferred for items thicker than plated pieces.

This will work with junk jewelry, all manner of plated gold or platinum scrap, removing the
plating and causing it to separate from the base metals.  It will not dissolve lead, copper or
other "Trash" metals to contaminate your efforts.

SBF is a dry powder, ready to use, as is, straight from the container.
