After exhaustive research and testing, we have at last come up with a new formulation that does everything that cyanide can do...
and does it faster! This is a NON-TOXIC, biodegradable combination of specific ingredients based on Sodium Thiosulfate….
Long known in the mining industry to be a possible contender for a cheaper, safer gold and other precious metals leach, but until
now NO ONE has been able to figure out how to make it work well. Our Thio-Leach rapidly extracts the Gold and other precious
Metals in room-temperature tap water, at normal atmospheric pressures in plain tanks, without any special education or
equipment. Simply drop in a measured amount of leach powder–to-ore, stir occasionally, and add an air bubbler to keep the leach
activated. Our sample ores, ground to 200 mesh fineness, run 1 hour, extracted 85% of the Gold, first pass. A second treatment of
the Thio-Leach extracted 98% in a following 4 hour leach.
THIO-LEACH uses include the treatment and extraction of very difficult ores. These include Refractory, Carbonaceous and other
complexed ores, solutions and waters. No matter the source material, THIO-LEACH will aggressively extract the Precious Metals.
It is the perfect leach for secondary scrap processors of Gold scrap, such as electronics parts, pins and junk jewelry, where the
coatings are the only part wanted, as this leach ignores all base metals. When used in conjunction with our electrowin system, it
will simultaneously leach out ore, and recover it, all at the same time! (Electrowin Unit plans are available separately)
THIO-LEACH is safe to store and use, waste leach liquid can be recycled several times before discharging to municipal waste or
environment. *Add small amount of T-6 for any trace metals left before dumping waste.
